Sarah Flake is the creator and designer behind Flaky Friends, LLC.
In December, 2007, seeing that her daughters toy bin was filling with massively boring, uninspired toys she decided to take matters into her own hands and busted out the old sewing machine. With no formal training, her creations don't bother following any rules and have an outlandish amount of personality!She quickly fell in love with her new soft friends and wanted to share the love. In 2008 she opened an online shop with a few plush creations and discovered there is a large demand for non-traditional plush toys for all types of humanoids.
Since January 2008, Sarah's little army of stuffed weirdos has spread into thousands of grubby, appreciative hands worldwide. Her creations appeal to all ages and her twisted sense of humor makes them a snarky gift for the hard-to-shop-for person on your Christmas list.
